Pinwheels for Peace 2025 occurs on September 21, 2025, the
and involves people creating and planting decorated pinwheels as a public, visual statement about peace and hope for a peaceful world.
Participants, particularly students, make pinwheels with messages and images about peace, with the act of planting them symbolically spreading these ideas through the community and beyond.
While there isn't one central organizer, schools and communities worldwide hold events, and organizations like Rebuilding Alliance also facilitate participation.
