We are excited to share information about our KCMS Summer Scholars Program!
We will be having a summer program centered on small group instruction, vocabulary expansion, scientific discovery, confidence building, and problem solving this June 15th-18th. The program will run for one week (Mon-Thurs.) from 9-11AM. Breakfast will be provided.
STEM activities, reading and math instruction will help students stay on track, build confidence, and avoid the “summer slide.”

Welcome to Waynesboro Public Schools!
We’re excited to introduce Yvonne Jarvis, our newest Division Head Nurse!
Yvonne is a Registered Nurse with 29 years of experience and holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Leadership and Management. Her background includes work in skilled nursing, neuro trauma, obstetrics, newborn care, juvenile corrections, outpatient dialysis, and ambulatory clinics. She has also spent more than 25 years in leadership roles supporting both patients and healthcare teams.
Originally from Rockbridge County, Yvonne and her husband, Tony, have called the Waynesboro area home for the past 6½ years.
We’re thrilled to have her as part of our team and know she will make a positive impact on our students and staff! 💙
