At their May meeting, the Waynesboro School Board recognized the students whose art work was chosen to represent the Waynesboro School Board at the VSBA Valley Regional Spring Art Contest. The following participants were chosen by their art teacher to represent our elementary, middle and high schools in Page County on May 1, 2025.

2nd Place Award recognition was awarded to Kyla Mainer for her elementary artwork at the VSBA Valley Regional Spring Art Contest.

At their May meeting, the Waynesboro School Board recognized, Ms. Bella Klemm as the 2024-2025 Student Representative to the School Board for her commitment in serving her school and the school division in this position. Bella will continue her education this fall as a freshman at George Washington University.

Jordan Smith broke the Waynesboro school record in the discus as a sophomore, and she’s broken her own record several times this season.

Class of 2025!
This is a reminder that we will hold graduation practice on Thursday, May 15th at 1:30 pm at WHS. This is required for participation in Friday's graduation ceremony. You will need to come dressed for graduation, as Queen City Photography will take your formal graduation photograph and senior class group photo.
Regalia for graduation will be limited to school-issued cords and stoles, which include Valley Vo-Tech and Governor School. Graduation attire expectations can be found in the senior activities packet on the WHS website.

End of Course Testing (SOL's) at WHS Begins Friday!
Friday, May 9th: Science SOL
Monday, May 12th: History
Tuesday, May 13th: Math
Wednesday, May 14th: Reading
All testing begins at 8:30 am. It is essential for each student to have a good night's rest and to arrive at school on time.
