As previously announced, Monday, April 20, 2026, will now be a regular school day, and our Staff Workday will be moved to Tuesday, April 21, 2026. This change is necessary due to the special election being held across the Commonwealth of Virginia, as several of our school locations serve as polling places.

Thank you so much to the Waynesboro High School Key Club students for having the 5th Easter Egg Hunt for our preschool community! There were around 30 children with their families enjoying the beautiful day. Kids had so much fun playing in the Bounce House, doing arts and crafts, enjoyed face painting, and left with their baskets overflowing with eggs filled with candy and small fun toys. We appreciate the fun opportunity!

Our students enjoyed a royal Knights and Princess Day, followed by an active Egg Hunt where everyone had the chance to search for and take home filled eggs. A huge thank you to the Waynesboro Key Club, along with our wonderful volunteers, parents, and families, for helping make these events so special for our students.
We were also thrilled to welcome special visitors from Wild Rock! Students loved exploring hands-on spring stations and engaging with nature. A big thank you to Yvette Schoelkopf for such a great visit!
As a reminder, Spring Break is next week. We will return to school on Tuesday, April 7th. We hope all of our families have a safe, relaxing, and joyful break! 🌷

Over the past two weeks, our preschool engineers have been busy exploring, building, and coding with LEGO Coding Express.
During week one, our 3- and 4-year-olds explored the LEGO pieces and worked together to build their own train tracks. In week two, they rebuilt their tracks and used iPads to code and drive their trains along the routes they created.
It has been exciting to see their creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork in action.
