❤️🚨We're so proud of our students who practiced staying safe in a statewide tornado drill today! Our little learners did an amazing job demonstrating and practicing what to do in case of an emergency. Great job students!🚨❤️

A couple important reminders, if you are picking your child up, it needs to be done before 1:30pm, or you will be required to wait in the car rider line. The office is too hectic at the end of the day for transportation changes. We are trying to guarantee all students get home safely, so we really need your help.
Also, please remember that Wayne Hills arrival time is between 7:45am-8:10am. After 8:10am, students are considered tardy and it is really important students are here for their morning routines. Thank you for your help in these matters!

🎬 Lights, Learning, Action!

Tomorrow is Farm Day for Theme Thursday. The vocabulary word is MAMMAL.

This week's Theme Thursday is Farm Day. The vocabulary word is MAMMAL.

Today, we encountered some heating issues in a few classrooms, which led us to come together for a special viewing of Finding Nemo! This aligned perfectly with our weekly curriculum theme, Sea Life. We were able to explore the fascinating world of sea creatures and coral reefs. Watching Nemo provided an engaging opportunity to see these concepts come to life in a fun and memorable way! We have the best kids and teachers who are flexible and love making the best of any situation!

Due to icy road conditions in parts of the city, Waynesboro Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Friday, February 21, 2025. Schools will open two hours later than usual for students.
