The RTR Teacher Residency Program at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in partnership with Waynesboro Public Schools offers a hands-on, school-based teacher preparation experience. Through both graduate and undergraduate pathways, residents gain the knowledge, skills, and real-world experience needed to be effective educators. If you already have your associate or bachelor’s degree, one of our pathways could be right for you! This program also offers:
a full salary and benefits as an employee of the school division for those pursuing their bachelor’s degree
a stipend to cover the cost of your degree or certificate in education, leading to teacher licensure eligibility in elementary, secondary, or special education for graduate and undergraduate pathways

Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 19th, Wayne Hills buses will follow the same procedure as today. Students from 696 will be divided between buses 610 and 677 for both morning and afternoon routes. This will cause delays for both buses. We apologize for any difficulties this may cause.
