Hello Panther Family! Walk 2 School week is quickly approaching and a form is coming home. Please only fill out the form and return to school if you do not want your student walking to school from Food Lion with adult supervision and local emergency service personnel directing traffic. As we approach the Labor Day weekend, we want to extend our warmest wishes to you and your family. Please note that all schools will be closed on Monday, September 2nd, in observance of the holiday. We also want to inform you that the Virginia Department of Health has provided our school division with COVID-19 rapid antigen tests at no cost. Next week, each student and staff member will receive a box containing two tests to take home. If you or your child experiences any symptoms of COVID-19 we strongly encourage you to use these tests. Symptoms of COVID-19 include: • Fever or chills • Cough • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing • Sore throat • Congestion or runny nose • Fatigue • Muscle or body aches • Headache • Nausea or vomiting • Diarrhea Please remember to report any positive test results to your child's school nurse. Our guest speaker, Dave Burgess, brought the energy and inspiration we needed to kick off the year.
