At our most recent School Board meeting, a calendar adjustment was approved in preparation for the Commonwealth of Virginia’s special election on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Several Waynesboro schools will serve as polling locations that day.
To support election operations and minimize disruption:
• The Staff Workday originally scheduled for Monday, April 20, 2026, will be moved to Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
April 20 will be a regular school day for students
April 21 will be a staff workday
