Teachers learned ways they can use the farm to teach SOLs, including science, social studies and history, math and even social emotional lessons.

Sharing a fantastic moment of community collaboration and celebration! Waynesboro Public Schools had the honor of attending a recent Waynesboro Rotary Meeting, where we joined in recognizing and awarding "On the Road Collaboration," an amazing organization providing invaluable after school programming at Kate Collins Middle School and Waynesboro High School.
On this special occasion, On the Road Collaboration was presented with an $8,000 grant to support their vital programming, helping our students thrive and succeed. Thank you, Waynesboro Rotary, for your generous support!
And it wasn't just business at the meeting – we all enjoyed a delectable and satisfying lunch together. The menu featured mouthwatering mojo chicken, fresh salad, hearty black beans, sweet churros, and flavorful plantains.
It was a wonderful day filled with camaraderie, good food, and the shared mission of fostering a brighter future for our students.

🗓️ NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS 🗓️
On Monday, September 18th, 2023, there will be no school for students across Waynesboro Public Schools. But don't worry, this day is essential for our dedicated staff members as it's a Staff Development Day.

Too often, we think of reducing absences as the job of parents or school staff in the front office. But communities across the country have started helping schools address chronic absence by building public awareness and leveraging resources. http://bit.ly/1oqfID7
