🌱 🪴 🪏 Wayne Hills students harvest and try their own mixed salad greens thanks to the Valley Alliance for Education. The Hydroponics Tower Garden is part of a joint project by Katie Ditchen from Wayne Hills and Nichole Barrows from Waynesboro High School. The "Grow-Ability Hydroponics Project" is funded by a grant from the VAE. Horticulture students from the high school collaborate with preschool students to cultivate a variety of crops, utilizing water and nutrients. The preschoolers get a close up view of every stage of plant development, and get to eat the results of their work! Thanks VAE! 🌱 🪴 🪏

🥗🌮🍲 Lunch just got delicious at WPS! 🍲🌮🥗

We’re excited to highlight some of the tasty meals that have already been served up in our schools this year! Our school meals are packed with flavor, nutrition, and love—because fueling student success starts with a great meal. 💙

Here’s what’s been on the menu:
✔️ Chef Salad – Crisp, fresh, and loaded with all the good stuff.
✔️ Nachos – Crunchy chips topped with seasoned perfection.
✔️ Fajitas – Sizzling with bold flavors and fresh veggies.
✔️ Beef Teriyaki – A savory favorite served with a side of yum.

We’re proud to serve meals that not only meet USDA nutrition standards, but also get students excited about what’s on their tray.
