There is a College and Career Fair being hosted at Stuarts Draft High School on Wednesday, Sept 20th from 6:00-7:30pm. It is open to ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND FAMILIES for FREE! Juniors and Seniors are highly encouraged to attend.
There will be over 60 representatives from colleges, universities, military and local businesses. Whether your student plans to attend college, join the military or enter the workforce after high school, this is a GREAT opportunity.
Be sure to RSVP using the QR code on the event flyer attached in order to easily and safely share your info with colleges and universities.
FREE SHUTTLE - There is an opportunity for a free shuttle from WHS to SDHS for students AND families, based on interest. The shuttle will leave WHS at 5:45pm to head to SDHS. It will leave SDHS at 7:15pm to return back to WHS. IF YOU PLAN ON UTILIZING THIS FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE, PLEASE COMPLETE THIS GOOGLE FORM SO WE CAN GAUGE INTEREST AND PLAN ACCORDINGLY!
If you have a child in your family that is still in a car seat, you will need to provide your own transportation, as riding the shuttle bus would not be the safest option for your family. All students and families are welcome to drive themselves to the event, and arrive and leave whenever they would like.
We hope to see Giant Nation show up and take advantage of this GREAT opportunity! Students can come find me at the event for a small prize. 😊

Last night, three WHS teachers were recognized by the Valley Alliance for Education at their annual Creative Classroom Grants Reception.
Over the course of this school year, Laura Riggan, Rebecca Motley, and Erin Widener will use the funds they received to implement their ideas in the classroom.
We are so proud of our award winners, and we can't wait to see their grants in action!

This is a reminder that all students who do not attend Waynesboro High School must be accompanied by a paying parent. Students who attend Waynesboro High School will be allowed access to all sporting events for free with proof of their PowerSchool. Gates will open 45 minutes before the start of each event.

The Gender and Sexualities Association (GSA) is having our first meeting today at 3:30 in room A203. Come join us to form our community and help direct our goals for the year! Please see Ms. Robinson or Ms. Chonoles with any questions or concerns.
Attention Beta Club Members, our first meeting of the school year is this Thursday at 3:25 in the Media Center.
Don’t forget, auditions are being held August 21st and 22nd for our fall musical “Mamma Mia”. The sign up sheet can be found on the theater classroom door B114 along with audition materials. Stage crew sign ups will begin on August 28th for those interested in building and running the musical backstage. We look forward to seeing you then.

Good Morning from Waynesboro High School! We are excited about the start of the school year and the return of our Little Giant community. Tomorrow, our doors open at 8:10 am and classes begin at 8:30 am. We ask that families do not drop students off before doors open. With the start of the school year fast approaching, the Waynesboro Education Farm would like to announce the beginning of community volunteer nights! Come on by the farm located at Berkeley Glenn beginning at 5:00pm. Bring the family, get your hands dirty, and stick around for some Polyface Farm hot dogs and burgers on the grill! These working/community events will take place on the first Wednesday of every month beginning August 2nd from 5-7pm."
