Waynesboro Public Schools are on a 2 hour delay today.
(Tuesday 1/9/24)

Happy New Year Panther Family! I wanted to re-share the specials schedule with you as we kick off the second semester. Remember you have to look at both sheets to decipher what day and special your lil Panther(s) have. Tomorrow will be Day 1 on the calendar then you look at the rotation sheet and find your child's teacher(s) name to see what special they have on Day 1. Example: Cornish has PE on Day 1 (Tomorrow) and Music on Day 2(Friday). The calendar is set, so it will not bump for any reason. Please wear athletic clothes and tennis shoes on PE days. Keep being AWESOME!

Headed to the grocery store this week? Support Waynesboro Public Schools by rounding up at your local MARTIN'S Food Markets register! Now through March 31, MARTIN’S customers can support local public school districts and their efforts to eliminate childhood hunger right at the register. Through this initiative, Waynesboro Public School can use funds to support meal programs to expand food distribution programs, create on-campus food pantries and gardens, and supply extra weekend meals. Dear Parents and Guardians: Just a reminder regarding morning drop off. Students are tardy after 7:50 am. You will need to park your vehicle in the parking lot and you must walk your student to the door. We will have cones and signage in place please do not move them, park your vehicle in the designated parking spaces. From there, walk your student up to the front door of the school and ring the doorbell. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Our primary concern is the safety and well-being of all our students, and your support is crucial in achieving this goal.

Join the William Perry Watch D.O.G.S! Learn more about this great program at the William Perry website. https://www.waynesboro.k12.va.us/o/wpes/article/1337249. Being a Watch Dog Dad is a great way to become involved in your child’s educational journey. This program allows you to volunteer not only in your child’s classroom but in other classrooms as well. This program also allows us parents to be role models in front of our children so they can see how important it is for us to have positive relationships within the school such as supporting the educational mission of their teachers and administrators.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are thrilled to announce that today, your child will be bringing home a special gift - brand new t-shirts! These t-shirts were generously donated by Parrott Orthodontics, who graciously made these shirts for us free of charge.
Each class has been assigned a unique grade level color to make it easier for our students to identify with their peers. Not only are these t-shirts a fantastic way to build a sense of community within our school, but they also serve a practical purpose. They can be worn on various occasions such as field trips, spirit days, and more.
We are grateful to Parrott Orthodontics for their support and commitment to our school community. Their generosity has provided our students with a wonderful opportunity to showcase their school spirit and unity.
Please take a moment to check your child's backpack
