These past few days at our New Staff Orientation have been fantastic, and we are so glad you are here with us. Orientation included a thrilling opening by the Waynesboro High School Cheer team, learning important information about our division, a fun and informative bus tour of Waynesboro, and ended with a beautiful group photo at Sunset Park. Our administrators had a great time getting to know everyone and are excited about the energy and passion our new staff bring to our schools. Here’s to a wonderful year ahead! 🌟

School is out, summer meals are in! Waynesboro Public Schools are participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability or age, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Medication pick-up reminder: Nurse Jennifer will be available today through Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., and on June 5th from 9-11 a.m. for parents to sign out clinic medications. Any medications not picked up by June 5th will be destroyed per WPS Policy.

Please plan on joining us for our 2024 Back-to-School Bash. The vision of the event is to remove barriers to school readiness for students and families. Haircuts, immunizations, sports physicals, registration help for families, and multiple community organizations will be available to share information with families.

Tomorrow, Friday, May 17th is field day at William Perry. Here are some reminders: 1. Students should wear tennis shoes, shorts, and a t-shirt. 2. Bring a towel and a change of clothes. 3. Sunscreen--put on before coming to school and bring some with you to reapply. Label with your child's name. 4. Lunch is a hotdog, fruit, snack, and milk. Students may also pack a lunch from home. 5. This event is for current William Perry Students only. Students will have an exciting day!!
