📢Attention Parents of Students that ride Bus 698, Ms. Denise. 🚌Today (9/6) and Tomorrow Moring (9/7) this bus will be around 20 mins. late, another bus will be picking up and dropping off. ✎ If you would like your child to be a car rider today call the office at 540-946-4650. Tomorrow afternoon we will have a sub driver so this bus may be just a little off the regular schedule. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

🔔Morning Arrival:
● The doors open at 7:35 AM
● Students should arrive between 7:35 -7:50 am
● Students are tardy if they arrive after 7:50 am
● A parent MUST walk the student(s) to the door if they are tardy
● Right turn only into the parking lot off of King Avenue
Dismissal:🚗
● Please keep your child’s mode of transportation as consistent as possible. If you need to change transportation and you know ahead of time, please send a note to your child’s teacher✏️. If there is an urgent reason to change your child’s dismissal you must call the office BEFORE 2:15 pm.
● Dismissal for car riders will begin at approximately 2:45 PM after buses have been released.
● Please drive slowly and carefully and pull up as far as possible.⚠️

🔊In the afternoon, please avoid picking your child up early as instruction continues until dismissal every day. We want the best for your children and our goal is to help them grow both academically and socially. In order to do that it is important that they attend school every day, all day.

September is Attendance Awareness Month. Absenteeism in the first month of school can predict poor attendance throughout the school year. Did you know that students who miss 2 to 4 days in September go on to miss nearly a month of school throughout the year? Regular school attendance is important!

With the start of the school year fast approaching, the Waynesboro Education Farm would like to announce the beginning of community volunteer nights! Come on by the farm located at Berkeley Glenn beginning at 5:00pm. Bring the family, get your hands dirty, and stick around for some Polyface Farm hot dogs and burgers on the grill! These working/community events will take place on the first Wednesday of every month beginning August 2nd from 5-7pm."
