The bus is expected to run approximately 25 minutes late this afternoon, Friday, August 21, 2026, Bus 621 will be pick up elementary students on this route and Bus 698 will cover the secondary run.

Stuff the Bus begins today! Stop by the Waynesboro or Staunton Walmart Supercenter between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM to donate school supplies and help support students across Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta County.
Today is the SAW Clothing Closet Back-to-School Clothing Event! Families can shop for free clothing for school-aged children from 12:00–6:00 PM at Wilson Middle School.
Stuff the Bus begins tomorrow! Donations of school supplies will be collected August 7–9 from 10:00 AM–6:00 PM at the Waynesboro and Staunton Walmart Supercenters.

This past Sunday, we wrapped up our second Back to School Bash with another afternoon of community, connection, and back-to-school excitement!
Thank you to the staff, volunteers, community partners, barbers, stylists, and families who helped make the day so special. We’re grateful to begin the new school year surrounded by such strong support for our students!

Enjoy free school supplies, community resources, yard games, music, a self-care corner, character meet-and-greets, and more. Free haircuts are available with advance registration. 🎒✏️

📚🎉 It is not too late to sign up! Join us for week 2 of the 6th Annual Waynesboro Public Schools Back-to-School Bash at Kate Collins Middle School on Sunday, August 2, from 1:00–6:00 p.m.
Families can meet school staff, complete registration, receive vaccinations and sports physicals, get free haircuts, register for school supplies, access community resources, pick up healthy food, get vaccines for 7th and 12th graders, and more!
To help reduce wait times, registration is required for a specific appointment time. Registration for the August 2nd event is now open on the Waynesboro Public Schools website, social media pages, and at this link. If you need vaccines for your 7th and 12th grader, please sign up at this link.
