Now through March 31, MARTIN’S customers can support local public school districts and their efforts to eliminate childhood hunger right at the register. Through this initiative, Waynesboro Public School can use funds to support meal programs to expand food distribution programs, create on-campus food pantries and gardens, and supply extra weekend meals. What a fantastic day it was as staff members and students from Waynesboro Public Schools came together to participate in "The Crunch Heard 'Round the Commonwealth," supporting Virginia farm to school programs. 🚜🏫 Today, our school community simultaneously took a bite out of delicious Virginia-grown apples, making a resounding noise for farm to school initiatives! 🍎📣 This spirited event was part of Virginia Farm to School Week, and it showcased our commitment to local agriculture, healthy eating, and community spirit. 🌽🥦
