At their May meeting, the Waynesboro School Board recognized Ms. Brianna Squizzero, Junior Beta Club sponsor and Ms. Ellen Trost, Junior Beta Club co-sponsor, as well as the students that participated in the Junior Beta Club Convention at the Hampton Convention Center in February 2025.

At their May meeting, the Waynesboro School Board recognized the students whose art work was chosen to represent the Waynesboro School Board at the VSBA Valley Regional Spring Art Contest. The following participants were chosen by their art teacher to represent our elementary, middle and high schools in Page County on May 1, 2025.

2nd Place Award recognition was awarded to Kyla Mainer for her elementary artwork at the VSBA Valley Regional Spring Art Contest.

At their May meeting, the Waynesboro School Board recognized, Ms. Bella Klemm as the 2024-2025 Student Representative to the School Board for her commitment in serving her school and the school division in this position. Bella will continue her education this fall as a freshman at George Washington University.

Celebrating Success at Kate Collins Middle School! 🎉
On Friday Kate Collins Middle School hosted a special celebration to recognize incredible students for their hard work and dedication in preparing for the SOL assessments and completing their grade-level courses and benchmark assessments.
With ice cream, and smiles all around, students had a chance to relax, reflect, and enjoy time with their peers. One highlight of the event was the hot air balloon-themed celebration bulletin board, where students proudly placed their names to mark their academic achievements and growth!
A big thank you to the KCMS staff for organizing such a meaningful celebration, and to our School Board members and Central Office staff who joined to support and serve ice cream to students!
